IDA 2019 Presentation

Had the opportunity to share at IDA 国际龙奖 2019 in Bangkok, the topic was “My IDA Journey”. I was initially apprehensive when I received the invite, for the presentation was to be done entirely in mandarin. But eventually I decided to go with it because:

• it was a chance to give back to this community which I had learnt so much from

• pushing my own comfort zone, in presenting in mandarin and to a largely public crowd

I am extremely glad I did it. Many friendship were made with fellow presenters, the audience that came up to speak (and take photos), and extremely grateful to those that helped and supported before, during and after the presentation.

While I would not think it’s my best showing, many many areas to take note of and improve on, but I have definitely gained more confidence and know what are the preparation gaps I need to address.
